Between Community Day and last week’s washout, we are so happy to return to the “circle” we call home at the train station this week!

If you're looking to shake up your weeknight dinner routine a little, consider this recipe for maple and miso sheet pan salmon with green beans.

Some of you may not know that Maplebrook Creamery sells the maple syrup you'll need for this recipe, in addition to their popular feta, burrata and ever-popular ricotta. They sell the syrup in various sizes but I went ahead and splurged on one of their ginormous jugs that sell for $75 but will last me from now until next market season.

If you invest in one too, you should really up your maple-syrup recipe game. I’m planning on making this maple-roasted squash and chickpea recipe. And, this recipe for maple shallot pork tenderloin. And, then you should put Sunday morning pancakes on a regular rotation.Since Mead Orchards and Caradonna Farms are bringing in new apple varieties every week this time of year (make way for Macouns and King of the Pippins varieties this week!) make these apple pancakes. A reminder that apples taste so good in savory preparations too, as in this sheet pan chicken with apple fennel and onion.Serve with Wild Hive polenta and some salad greens from Obercreek Farm and dinner is not only served, but devoured! Or, consider this recipe for creamy polenta with sautéed apples, mushrooms and Calvados.

Believe it or not, Ryan at R&M Farm is already taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys! Wouldn’t it be nice to get that off your “to do” list?
